Grismer Tire Co

I went in for a slow leak in my tire and these guys fixed it FAST. To top it off, they were very friendly and didn’t try to oversell anything. I’ll definitely use Grismer again.

I always have a good experience bringing my car to Grismers on Salem/Denlinger. The staff is very professional and they always explain with clarity on your car maintenance.

The Grismer Tire & Auto Service Center on Salem Ave in Dayton, Ohio has been the most reliable full-service auto service center we’ve used. Brent and Travis consistently provide honest assessments, stellar service, and truly professional customer care. It’s refreshing to work with a team you can trust. They treat our cars as if they were their own family’s vehicles, which gives us real peace of mind. Beyond their professionalism as senior auto service managers, they bring a level of care, kindness, and genuine concern that truly stands out. They take the time to help you understand what’s necessary to keep your vehicle safe, and that level of service goes far beyond anything we’ve experienced elsewhere. We give our highest commendation to both of them, their staff, and this location as a whole. Without a doubt, this is the best auto service center in Dayton, Ohio.

This was not a good experience for me. I went to get the “free” oil change because I purchased tires. I was informed that oil changes are only free up to $74.99, which this was never advertised this way. I explained that was not the case when I came to get my first oil change. Second issue, the technician spilled oil on the inside of my car while taking off the filter and “tried” to clean it all off the best she could. I heard her talking to the manager to get his approval for what she had done. I am now there for 1.5 hours -for an oil change! The manager comes back and said you need a serpentine belt bad! No sir, I asked him to put all the details about her spilling the oil to ensure I am covered. By the way, I left Grismer and went to my mechanic who said, you don’t need a serpentine belt right way. I don’t understand taking advantage of people, especially when you believe they don’t know. I would give a zero stars but that’s not an option. I will not return to Grismer, even for “free” oil changes

Although I had to return for tire balance correction, they did an overall good job with my car. No scratches on my rims, and the tires are balanced well. Got up to 130mph with no vibrations detected.
